Well, this summer I will venture into something new! I am so excited, yet incredibly nervous that I will be teaching Traffic Education classes to teachers in Montana. Nervous for various reasons, but teaching teachers is a challenge and I am welcoming this. I feel that everyday is a learning process and I hope they gain a wealth of knowledge from me but I am looking forward to learning from them as well.
I tend to use my blog as a "dumping ground" for new teaching ideas and to gather thoughts that I do not want to lose after a class is done. I find that ideas have to flow and be written down to be remember just as our lesson plans our or we tend to forget the important parts or the inspiration to the new lessons.
I encourage you to create your own blog as well, maybe even experiment with wikis! But I do think the biggest asset for me is having a dropbox account. I a highly recommend that you do too.
